This research was completed as an personal independent project the third year of my undergraduate degree. I completed this project under the supervision and guidance of Post-Doctorate Dr. Thanida Chuecheron in Dr. Cristina Sabliov's nanoparticle laboratory at Louisiana State University.
This research tested the material properties and drug release profile of nanoparticle delivering gelatin bandages. The bandages were designed for topical use on skin.
After presenting my project at LSU's Discover Day, an annual undergraduate research conference, I placed third overall in the Visual Display category as well as third overall as an Individual Presentation in the College of Engineering.
